I dig it.

Really love the cd, the songs are great. Favourite song would have to be Bleed it Out, I love the energy of the song. I also really dig Hands Held High, No more Sorrow, and The Little Things. Unfortunately most everything on the dvd I found on youtube before the album came out.

It Rocks!

Posted : 16 years, 8 months ago on 8 August 2007 08:04 (A review of Our Live Album Is Better Than Your Live Album)

One of the best live albums I've seen. Really great features (2 commentaries!) and an awesome live show as well. I'm really impressed with this.

Local and Loved.

Posted : 17 years, 3 months ago on 20 January 2007 05:30 (A review of How to Save a Life)

I first heard The Fray on my favourite radio station's locals only hour. Their single Over My Head for what seemed like two years straight but I still enjoy it, nearly as much as I did when I first started hearing it.

This album is full of great songs and now nearly a year and a half later I'm still listening to it. I look forward to hearing more great music from The Fray.

Powerful and Insightful

Posted : 17 years, 3 months ago on 20 January 2007 05:13 (A review of The Lions of Al-Rassan)

It's rare for a book to make me cry but cry I did the first time I read Lions and everytime I've read it since. This novel's marketed as a fantasy but I tend to think of it as historical fantasy. If you let yourself look past the names you'll see plenty of parallels to western history.

Guy Gavriel Kay's an absolutely wonderful writer and I was sucked into the story immediately could hardly put the book down the firs time I read Lions. I ached for the characters everytime something got them down and cheered when things were good. Lions will continue to be one of my favourites for many, many years to come.

Big Boom!

Posted : 17 years, 3 months ago on 20 January 2007 04:59 (A review of MythBusters)

I love this show. And not just for the awesome science experiments. I also love it for the explosions, the fires, the car wrecks, the guns, and Buster the crash test dummy. I love the way they take every myth to it's limit and past. I learn something new every episode and sometimes it's even useful in real life!

New Classic!

Posted : 17 years, 3 months ago on 20 January 2007 04:43 (A review of Grosse Pointe Blank)

I've loved this movie since the first time I saw it in theathers and it's the movie that made John Cusak and Minnie Driver two of my all time favourite actors.

I love the premise of the movie and the jokes still crack me up ten years later. Joan Cusak is brillant in this film as well. I don't think there'll ever be a time that this isn't one of my all time favourite movies.

Like Being There!

Posted : 17 years, 3 months ago on 15 January 2007 12:04 (A review of Hanson - Underneath Acoustic Live)

This is possibly my favourite of all the concert dvd's I own. I never got to see the acoustic tour and watching this dvd is nearly as good as seeing it live. Hanson put on an awesome performance at the Chicago H.o.B. They sounded great, they played spectacularly, and they really got the crowd into it. The guys in the front row are especially entertaining. It's a toss-up as to which song is my favourite, The walk or You Never Know. I don't think I'll ever truly get tired of this dvd.

Great Music!

Posted : 17 years, 3 months ago on 14 January 2007 11:44 (A review of Jack Johnson - A Weekend At The Greek & Live In Japan [2 DVD])

This is a great dvd set. I watched this for the first time with my mom and we both loved it.

The music on both dvds is great. The full band on Weekend at the Greek was truly awesome. The different guests on each dvd were very cool. The interviews were a lot of fun, it was great seeing the different personalities. The dvd's also have some great special features, the making of In Between Dream was my favourite.

This was well worth the money
